Agricultural lime is a fundamental ingredient in soil care and plays a crucial role in ensuring healthy crops and maximising crop yields and hence their profitability. If your soil test results reveal you need to rebalance the pH in your soil in any fields, S&S Agricultural Liming offer a full end to end service from sourcing & supply of the right lime product, to variable rate spreading (if required) using GPS technology.

Our experienced administration team manage everything on your behalf from the sourcing from the right quarry, scheduling, transportation, and the data provision for variable rate spreading through a single invoice from S&S Agricultural Liming. As an independent full-service lime supplier, we have strong relationships with a number of quarries to ensure you get the best product at the right price.

Our soil testers, hauliers and spreaders are strategically located across our regions to aid in maximising efficiency and further minimising cost to our customers. Our Contracted Spreading Team are fitted with GPS equipment capable of reading the spread programme created by our GPS mapping service.

We are also able to use spread programmes commissioned elsewhere. If this is the case, we can contact the supplier and request the programme in a format that is suitable for our machines, this means we arrive on farm with the spread programme loaded and ready to go.

Fast-Acting Lime, Slow-Release Fertilisers, & Soil Improvement Solutions

In addition to agricultural lime, we can also offer supply of:

  • Granulated lime - great if you need to deliver essential nutrients, such as calcium and magnesium, directly to the soil. It's easy application and fast-reacting properties make it suitable for an emergency treatment for your land. As it comes bagged and goes through a fertiliser spreader the farmer can spread it themselves and is quick acting if a field has a lower pH and it is an emergency to get a crop productive.
  • Fibrophos PK fertiliser - a recognised slow-release fertiliser for phosphate & potassium deficiency.
  • Gypsum - can play a pivotal role in soil management by exerting a range of beneficial effects on soil structure, composition, and fertility. It is an excellent source of sulphur which supports plant nutrition and improves crop yield.
